Snow fools.

As suggested by my chum Charley I am going to do a run down of all the idiots I have encountered in the snow today.
* A girl walking to the bus stop was so terrified of the snow touching her she was rubbing it off vigorously with a look of sheer terror on her face. Anyone would think it was big lumps of burning acid not soft, feathery, delightful snow. yeah, that's right SNOW! Wonder what happens to her when it rains.
* Man approaching bus stop with a hat.... made of snow! It was piled up high on his head and had formed a peak.... When he got in the shelter (Snaking the queue I might add) he did not brush it off.... just let it slowly melt into his scalp... (bet the fearful girl was freaking out at the very thought).
* ALL the people at the bus stop..... when one bus passed overloaded with folks and was not stopping for more passengers I thought "Oh aye... I'm off on my feet now!" So walked I did while all the stupid sheep waited for a bus. Not a single bus past me for at least half an hour and when they did they were fit to burst! I can just imagine Mr Snow Hat still stood there now.
*Working in a shoe shop was fun.... Welly Rush! Within the first hour we'd sold a hefty amount of wellies and were down to only a few pairs.... yet people were shocked at 1pm when we didn't have their size! Who'd have thought that we'd have sold out of the only waterproof boots in an unpredicted blizzard..... and YOU'RE NOT THE ONLY PERSON WHO HAD THIS BRIGHT IDEA!
I'm sure there were plenty of other fools aropund but they were my favorites. Of course I had the usual array of numpties asking if knitted fake ugg boots are waterproof... Use your loaf love... you're wearing a coat, right? Why? Because your knitted jumper is not waterproof..... do you think a jumper on your foot would be waterproof? No? Then why would these be waterproof? Basic grasp of science.....
I took great pleasure in scaremongering today. Hyping up the snow fear... No, the buses are off... I don't know how I'll get home (Like I can't walk).... so and so re closing early....... I was rewarded for this by getting to leave work three hours early, as did most of the other shops in town (but much earlier than us!). I got to to the park and sledge down a hill on a melamine tea tray and climb on a massive snow mountain that someone else had built.
